Dr. Thein Lwin was invited by the Shan National League for Democracy (SNLD) to provide a lecture on Education Policies. The participants (total 39) were SNLD's elected members of parliament and some Executive Committee members including the Vice-Chair Sai Nyunt Lwin. Dr. Thein Lwin presented his review on National Education Law (2014), National Education Law Amendment (2015), National Education Strategic Plan (2016-2020 and 2021-2030), Education Policy of National League for Democracy, Education Policy of Ethnic Armed Organizations and Global Education Trend such as SDG4 and Abidjan Principles. The participants actively participated by raising questions and providing comments. Finally, Sai Nyunt Lwin, Vice-Chair of SNLD requested Dr. Thein Lwin to provide suggestions to SNLD's MPs to discuss education reform in the parliaments both national level and Shan State.
On Saturday, 16 January 2021, Thinking Classroom Foundation and University Teachers' Associations jointly organized 6th virtual education seminar on Discussion Strategies for Critical Thinking. Dr. Thein Lwin discussed about value line, discussion web, corners and academic controversy strategies. He used a video record demonstrating value line with university professors and lecturers at the Critical Thinking in Higher Education batch 1 in 2019. Seventy nine teachers participated in the online discussion and about 3000 people watched LIVE SHOW on the Thinking Classroom Foundation Page on the same day.
