A group of eleven students from Myanmar who are studying social sciences at Chiang Mai University joined the Critical Thinking in Higher Education workshop at the Thinking Classroom Foundation on Saturday, 27 June 2020. Dr. Thein Lwin led the discussion on reading for critical thinking, writing for critical thinking, academic writing and introduced humanistic approach to education and SDG-4.
In the mid of Corona Virus Pandemic, the students are stuck in Chiang Mai and they were happy to join the workshop. They said that it might be better if they got this kind of knowledge before starting their courses at the university. Another group of students will join Critical Thinking in Higher Education workshop on coming Saturday, 4 July 2020.
