Dr. Thein Lwin was invited by the Shan National League for Democracy (SNLD) to provide a lecture on Education Policies. The participants (total 39) were SNLD's elected members of parliament and some Executive Committee members including the Vice-Chair Sai Nyunt Lwin. Dr. Thein Lwin presented his review on National Education Law (2014), National Education Law Amendment (2015), National Education Strategic Plan (2016-2020 and 2021-2030), Education Policy of National League for Democracy, Education Policy of Ethnic Armed Organizations and Global Education Trend such as SDG4 and Abidjan Principles. The participants actively participated by raising questions and providing comments. Finally, Sai Nyunt Lwin, Vice-Chair of SNLD requested Dr. Thein Lwin to provide suggestions to SNLD's MPs to discuss education reform in the parliaments both national level and Shan State.
On Saturday, 16 January 2021, Thinking Classroom Foundation and University Teachers' Associations jointly organized 6th virtual education seminar on Discussion Strategies for Critical Thinking. Dr. Thein Lwin discussed about value line, discussion web, corners and academic controversy strategies. He used a video record demonstrating value line with university professors and lecturers at the Critical Thinking in Higher Education batch 1 in 2019. Seventy nine teachers participated in the online discussion and about 3000 people watched LIVE SHOW on the Thinking Classroom Foundation Page on the same day.

Dr. Thein Lwin led the discussion and demonstrated online a Jigsaw learning strategy. He used an example of corn cultivation for secondary school students. He also used a video clip taken the demonstration lesson of Critical Thinking in Higher Education batch 1. Over 100 teachers participated in the live discussion and over 6,000 people viewed the video record at the Thinking Classroom Foundation Facebook page. Dr. Thein Lwin discussed the topic in the principles of education is universal human rights; indigenous rights to education; and self-determination in education. Together with Dr. Thein Lwin of Thinking Classroom Foundation, Dr. Than Lwin Oo of University Teachers' Association, U Thura Soe of Basic Teachers' Union, Daw Shwe Sin Win of Migrant Teachers' Association, and Ko Ye Yint Phone Aung of Education College Students' Union participated in the talk as panelists. Dr. Arkar Moe Thu served as a moderator. Over 100 teachers and students participants participated in the live event and over 6,900 people watched the video record. Dr. Thein Lwin presented on the topic of educational freedom highlighting freedom of students, freedom of teachers, freedom of curriculum, freedom of thought and freedom of knowledge. He discussed about curriculum quality and competency based curriculum using an example of curriculum reform, 2016 in Finland. They all are secondary school teachers working at Church based schools run by Kachin Education Foundation.
TCF Chairperson participated in the online discussion on the topic of "How to Promote Human Rights at School and Non-Formal Education" together with Dr. Khine Khine Win, National Human Rights Commission of Myanmar and U Aung Zaw Htway, Equality Myanmar. The event was jointly organized by Equality Myanmar and Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB). The discussion was facilitated by Daw Toe Toe Myint of Equality Myanmar. The conference was attended by 300 participants on Zoom. The Zoom Application organized by TCF can accommodate only 300 persons. The participants who could not join the Zoom conference watched LIVE Show on TCF Facebook Page. There are 13,300+ viewers out of 57,781persons reached on "Lesson Planning for Critical Thinking" video at the time of 10:30 am (Thailand Time) on Tuesday, 24 November 2020.
The 300 participants on virtual conference include teachers from University Teacher Associations, Basis Education Teacher Unions, Education Colleague Student Unions, Burmese Migrant Teachers' Association, Monastery-based schools, Church-based schools and schools run by ethnic communities.
